First Financial Bank

I've banked here for the past couple years. So far so good. The bank tellers are nice and helpful. I haven't had any negative issues with them. It seems many of the negative reviews are due to user ignorance - so take their experiences with a grain of salt - just my opinion.

Fraudsters! These people won't bother putting your paycheck in your account until the following monday, meaning they get to use it before you do! Also, I went in there to close my account and the lady claimed she couldn't do it that day because I had to deposit money to restore it after overdrafting but I recovered it in cash in person with the teller. She is on CAMERA promising me that she would close the account the following day claiming she couldn't do it then due to the money processing in.. (mind you i gave her the full amount in cash....) I also asked her to please block any charges that might try to come through as I had explained to her I was done banking with them and did not want anything going through on that account. She claimed she couldn't prevent any of that from happening.

Banked here for a few years when it was called "Simply Bank". When they were bought out by Forst Financial they removed overdraft protection with notification, which in turn took $900 out of my account then in addition they overdrafted another $400+. They also started up all the autopayments that I had stopped without notification. So, I closed the account. After closing the account they continued to use that account and now I can't bank anywhere unless I the overdraft fees and the balance. Coastal Community Bank allowed me to make an account that doesn't overdraft, doesn't charge monthly fees, and doesn't pull the crap First Financial did.

Everyone has been so wonderful. They are ready to help my mom a senior citizen when anything she has, and they helped me set up my son’s first bank account which he’s very proud of.

If I could give no stars I would. They told me I couldn't take my daughter off my aount that she could take my money no matter what. Wow this is a sorry bank. They need to be shame of themselves. I wouldn't bank here if yall want to keep your money.
