Very grateful for the help of the team at First American Title to buy the new house. The expertise of Vanessa, Rena, and the entire team made a long and complicated house purchase a lot smoother for us.

The experience with this Title Company has been nothing but a headache and problems with no communication from them, when there are any problems. As a seller, our transaction should have been a joyful occassion and we should have been able to celebrate the next chapter of our lives. However, not only has this been a miserable transaction but you cant even get anyone to answer the main phones, and if you do get an answer, consider yourself lucky! I would never use this Title Company again, and I would highly discourage anyone else from using them...

Great title company! The staff is amazing... all were profoundly knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, and professional. We were on the seller side of two separate property transactions and First American Title will always be my preferred title company buy or sell, i.e., we knew we were in good hands from the beginning and I appreciate how easy and painless they made everything. An aside... the offices at South Shore Boulevard are beautiful and in one of my favorite communities :-)

This was my first experience with First American Title and will surely be my last. The branch in League City was unresponsive, unprofessional, and ill-prepared to handle this closing. I was initially assigned an agent and an assistant. Both ended up leaving the company and the branch did not reach out to let me know who was re-assigned. After leaving several messages at the branch, I had to contact the corporate office to get someone to get our process started. Due to their lack of moving the file forward, closing did not happen as scheduled, leaving us with hurdles to handle over a holiday weekend. If your agent recommends using this title company, request a different title company.
