Fairmont Park Apartments

My Elderly Dad has lived in this community for 5 1/2 years. He was very happy here, due to medical necessity, we have had to move him to a retirement community. Fairmont is a beautiful place to live. Very pretty club house and a great pool with tennis courts. Apartments are spacious with nice amenities. Whenever dad needed anything, the staff were always attentive and took care of his needs… the neighborhood is gorgeous and a safe place to live. If you’re looking for nice apartment living, I highly recommend giving Fairmont Park a look.

I have been a resident for over a year and have had very little issues until this past weekend; emergency maintenance is non-existent and customer service greatly needs improvement. On Friday 8/22 at 7:45pm I came home to a leak in my closet coming from the apartment above me. The person above me had just moved out and the apartment had done some maintenance Thursday. The leak was small but caused damage to the walls and ceiling and was directly hitting the furnace and electrical wiring (photos included)- luckily none of my person belongings were impacted. When I called the emergency maintenance number, no one answered and I was ultimately transferred to a sister location, Muirwood Apartments. They were unaware they were covering Fairmont. Fairmont park is a great place to stay, they have an amazing nature trail around the property and staff is really great. I enjoy staying here and would refer to any looking for a nice place to stay.

Avoid this property. I experienced ongoing pest issues tied to unresolved moisture problems that management repeatedly brushed aside. I reported moisture-related bugs (pill bugs, centipedes) well before cockroach activity appeared. Roaches were later confirmed to be coming from another unit, meaning this was a building-wide issue, not tenant behavior. An AC leak was never properly dried or investigated, worsening conditions that attract pests. I have even experienced earwig ingestion, which raises serious health and sanitation concerns. Pests happen—but ignoring moisture, minimizing health risks, and only acting after tenants push repeatedly is unacceptable. If you care about cleanliness, safety, or responsive management, look elsewhere.

Fitness center feels very uncomfortable. Some people ( mainly Telugu people)approach others, ask for personal numbers, and even stalk members. It’s also noisy, with loud music playing from mobile phones. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless management takes action to make it safer and more respectful. Management doesn’t take any action, even when neighbors make noise late at night every day. The floors are also squishy and poorly maintained. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless serious improvements are made.
