Jason just showed my house outside of Hudson, WI, for one of his clients. My wife and I (the owners) got home 3 hours after the showing to a wide open patio door and all the lights still on. I get shutting the lights off is generally considered a courtesy, but leaving a home open and unlocked after a showing is completely unacceptable. Luckily the screen portion of our door was closed otherwise our pets would have gotten out. Oh, and he didn’t leave a card either, another thing that considered a common courtesy for a house showing, to let the owner know you were there. Good thing he left other signs at the house!
