Esplanade at Stonebridge Village Apartments

Lived here for a year and three months while stationed at Vance. I’d say the complex is well managed, with attentive property management and maintenance. I will say that the main drawback is that the property itself seemed to me to be built somewhat on the cheap, not to say the units aren’t pleasant, in fact they are great, not only for the area but in general, though the quality of construction may be evident in such things as insulation and propensity to flood. A pipe burst occurred during the winter when I was living there, causing significant damage due to poor insulation of sprinkler lines. I don’t discredit the complex for this occurrence as the management and maintenance did all they could to assuage the situation, just something to consider and be aware of when moving in.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT rent here. These apartments may look nice from the outside, but once you move in, you'll quickly see the reality: poor-quality paint jobs, broken appliances, malfunctioning gas dispersal systems, and more. When we first moved to Enid, I was contacted by a leasing agent named Sarah after filling out an online form. She was incredibly sweet and helpful—unfortunately, she disappeared as soon as we moved in. That’s when we were left to deal with the horrible manager, Carly Bird. She seemed helpful at first, saying she was there for anything we needed, but that "support" lasted all of one week. This place is disgusting... We lived here for a year and had high hopes for the neighborhood. The old and new property managers are rude, lazy and non-confrontational, so problems never get fixed. We had maintenance issues in our apartment that we put over work orders in for over 10 times and they were never completed. The laziness of all staff is amazing. :( We referred a few other couples to move in shortly after we did, and were promised a $300 referral bonus for each that we never received. The pool was open all winter until it got hot in April and then they shut it down without an explanation. Okay apartment. Definitely some downsides. They raise rent by 4.21% every year (yes, I actually did the math), which is way above inflation. It’s also really hard to get ahold of the staff. They rarely respond, and when they do, it takes forever—so don’t expect quick help with anything. The biggest issue is the train. There’s a very active track right next to the apartment, and the horn goes off literally every 10 minutes, even at night. It will wake you up—every night. On the plus side, the apartment itself looks nice and the surrounding area is pretty.
