Horrible title company and definitely do NOT recommend. The negative reviews for this company are similar to my awful experience. Nothing but problems with Equity. Terrible, rude customer service and uncomfortable interactions are my biggest complaints. Every time, this company acted as though I was bothering them when it's their only job. I dealt with Equity for four months until closing and the person taking care of our case never returned any of my phone calls or responded to my emails only minimally. They made mistakes on paperwork with misspelled names and simple spelling errors of basic English that I had to find myself by proofreading all of their paperwork and then had to let them know to fix it. Do not recommend, equity plus was hired to do our title and closing. They had well over a month to do the title work and they waited till the day before we were supposed to close to clear title. Then the day of closing they tried to get all the documents for closing together THE DAY OF!! So we waited around all day to close and never closed. Well we only had our mortgage rate locked in till the date of closing because they already delayed it once. So now we have to pay to extend our mortgage rate because equity plus did not do their job in a timely manner.

Poor communication, poor customer service.

Needed documentation pulled 2 years after our home sale and was able to get the documentation we needed immediately. Thank you!
