Enchanted Woods Apartments

I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT LIVE HERE! I lived here less than a year (I moved out at the end of May) and just off the top of my head in that time: there were people pretending to be maintenance staff to get into tenant’s apartments, a child was shot in a drive by, there was a group of people in ski masks going around asking people for their keys to the laundry room. I’ve seen people as well as vehicles getting beat up in the parking lot. There was a notice posted on our building saying that this building does not meet the minimum requirements for fire and life safety per the international fire code since March. It was still posted when I moved out. Almost every maintenance request I put in was either marked complete without being done or canceled without explanation. I made the

100% would not recommend. First and foremost the shared facilities hardly get cleaned for days. Management is rude. If you are going to live here make sure to document everything and have pictures for yourself. If you are going to get the laundry key, make sure if they don’t let you sign back for it, take a picture showing you returned it. Make sure to take pictures of your house after moving out and cleaning up; they will try to insinuate you left things on the patio/or did not clean up and put charges to it. They will come up with all sorts of excuses and reasons not to give back your deposit

Lived there 2024 2025. Rats, roaches, homeless people living in the storage.space on back porch of vacant Apts. Rude and unhelpful staff. Lazy maintenance that even lie about entering an apt and doing work. Dangerous dogs all over the place. A pit bull attacked my golden retriever. I saw more than.two pitbulls. Dog feces all over the place. My packages.got.stolen off my porch 3 + times. Found Crack pipes in grass near sidewalks twice. Got charged 3000 after moving out for paint and new carpet which they told me was standard for every tenant moving out. I could go on and on. Horrible experience. Still dealing with these charges they added after moving out on good terms with everything paid like I was suppose to.

Worst apartments I’ve ever stayed in. Wish I could give a 0. Thin walls; you hear ever door slide, toilet flush, shower being turned on. Imagine being trapped between loud music from your downstairs neighbor early mornings/late nights and the upstairs neighbors who don’t stop their large dogs from barking and running. Can’t even sleep without waking up to one or both neighbors. And being told you have to record AN HOUR of the dogs barking so they can address the issue. Front office staff act like they are annoyed you even walked the office. Gunshots when I first moved in, my car was stolen from the complex, and I can go on. I advise you to look else where, not a livable place unless you enjoy those things. I couldn’t even finish my lease. You will regret it. It’s a reason they are rated 2.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. ITS AWFUL. Nothing gets fixed. I have had no bedroom, pantry or closet doors for months. Lights all blink in and out. Nothing gets fixed at all. They are currently fixing the apartment unit above me but have fixed NOTHING that was requested. There is a reason they have such a low rating.
