Multifamily owners beware. Just a few of our issues with Empower Commercial Group's management included: -Not running criminal background checks on all adults on the lease, in one case resulting in a felon living in the unit and criminal activity and massive damage occurring at our property. -City code enforcement sending us a notice because of debris dumped on our grounds. Despite us having an agreement with ECG that they would drive by the property once a week to prevent this type of issue, the debris was there for at least 3 weeks before code enforcement stepped in. Other similar situations occurred. -Little or no communication about tenants not paying, vacating early, etc. -Expensive repair bills were common - most of the time we could have used our own vendors and saved money and rece
