Elms Luxury Apartments

My experience with the management at this apartment complex has been deeply disappointing. I visited this location multiple times over a three-month period because it is conveniently located near my workplace and mosque. Despite my continued interest, the manager was consistently rude, dismissive, and unwilling to engage in meaningful communication, often speaking for no more than 10 seconds. I submitted all required paperwork, including background and credit checks, and was told that there were no available units at the time. However, just 15 minutes later, my wife called to inquire about availability and was informed that there was an apartment available with no waiting list. The only notable difference is that I am a person of color, and my wife is white, which raises serious concerns

The office staff is nice. The rent was reasonable. Rent this affordable in Newark especially in such a nice area is hard to come by. The neighborhood is quiet. Apartment was pest and bug free. The interior is a nice size. No in unit laundry however, there is laundry on the third floor. They made sure the apartment was clean and shampooed the rugs before we moved in. The only thing bad I can say about it is the limit amount of space for parking. The front apartments have more guest parking spots than the apartments in the back. Didn't really bother me since I didn't have a lot of visitors at one time.

What more can I say about the elms..... They need to fix that turn entering the first street though. Twice now me and car always collided because we can't see each other. There needs to be a mirror or something put up

I’ve lived here for more than 2 years, maintince is good, better then other apartments. The trash gets empty 3, or 4 days during the week. Minor inconvenience with some of the parking, as most one assigned, and there are some that are used by those who have more then one vehicle. There are plenty of birds and squirrels to watch most of the year. Mary is very quick when there are issues that need to be resolved, with a fair descent answered to smoking. Easy of public transit, two buses the 34, which runs during peak times and the 33 which is a little longer walk, but runs about every 3o mins on the route 4. The German October festival is right down the street, living this close to it, means that you wouldn’t need to worry about parking, and hopping to get there and enjoy yourself. Draw

I applied for an apartment and was denied. A woman in the office seemed rude to me. I have the right to obtain information on the decision. I'll just rent somewhere else.
