We couldn’t be happier with our experience building our custom home with EL Builders.The entire project was completed on time and under budget, which is practically unheard of. The builder’s communication was excellent throughout the entire process — always keeping us informed and responding quickly to any questions. He suggested cost saving options along the way that allowed us to spend efficiently yet still have our dream home. Every contractor on site was courteous, professional, and respectful of our property. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail shows in every corner of our home. We would absolutely recommend EL Builders to anyone looking to build a custom home or remodel.

Recently completed a 3yr renovation of a 100yo cabin with full custom designs, fixtures, and finishes - mostly credited to Eric's trim carpenters, Greg and brother, who are excellent but do NOT use Eric's paint crew, Austin, etc. Started off trying but really unbelieveably bad quality and had inserted teenagers, not professionals, to spray trim (regardless of what else was nearby) and stain work looked like fingerpainting. Then refused to sand and do it right resulting in our efforts to sand and repaint ourselves! Placation, very sloppy work and Eric didnt back up the customer. Not really set up for custom homes. Being remote we found it very challenging to even have product delivered and ended up having to schedule the subs ourselves. Otherwise fine.

My experience with EL Builders was stellar! As we rebuilt our cabin but lived in another state, Eric kept us informed every step of the way. Monthly we could see exactly not only what was done, but how the cost compared to the estimate. The final product was an exceptionally well built, beautiful cabin that came in within our agreed upon estimate. Eric was responsive to my communications and helpful in every respect. I am so pleased we chose EL Builders! They come with my highest recommendation.

We had an amazing experience with EL Builders. Eric is extremely professional and personable. We knew nothing about building on a raw lake lot, but Eric handled everything for us with great care, quality, and professionalism. His positivity was contagious and when there were a few bumps, which is to be expected, we were always able to work it through without an issue. His transparency through the billing process ensured that there were no surprises. His contractors were top notch and easy to work with and you could tell that they were a tight knit team.
