I'd really like to commend Edmund Flynn -- we've used them twice in Washington DC, and they were incredibly helpful. Even complex co-op issues are well-understood and addressed and communication is prompt and professional. Great company, and you will genuinely do yourself a disservice if you chose anyone other than Edmund Flynn when buying/selling a co-op!

As a Lender in DC I've had the pleasure to work with EJ Flynn on over 50 coop transactions. Cooperatives add a layer of complexity to a home purchase and the whole team at EJ Flynn are pros at overcoming the obstacles it takes to close on a home. EJ Flynn is vital to ensuring closing goes smoothly and I can assure you most folks don't understand the level of labor and time it takes to put together title on a coop in the background. Many times last minute changes and updates come from the cooperative itself, not EJ Flynn, which causes last minute audibles that EJ can quickly maneuver. Whenever a customer of mine is purchasing a coop, I recommend EJ Flynn.

My closing was one of the worst I've experienced. I asked for a copy of all of the paperwork at least a week in advance. I got one document that had a mistake. When I arrived at closing, the mistake had not been corrected and I had 5 or 6 other documents requiring my signature, several of which needed edits before I would sign them. Unlike other closing companies with which I've worked, the buyer wasn't required to provide the funds in advance and brought a personal check to closing. It sat in the office for 5 hours waiting for the check with the proceeds of the sale.

Working with Brandon has been a complete disaster. He has made the experience miserable, and lacks the knowledge to properly handle a customer. Please avoid this company and this agent at all costs. If you are assigned Brandon at the Edmund J Flynn Company, you are DOOMED.

Flynn did a great job handling all the details on sale of co-op in DC. I would definitely recommend using them.
