This company doesn't do builds to the standard of what the contract states. I wouldn't have even taken this house after seeing them build it poorly if I didn't put $20,000 into upgrades that weren't refundable (walk away from my own $20,000 or move in and fix their garbage). Customer service and foreman just ignore you if you show them where they are wrong. All in all, it's a big mess. I don't recommend Eddleman Builders, but I do recommend Eddleman Home designs. Too bad they don't have quality workers. Honestly, the DR Whorton homes in the last phase of our neighborhood are built with more precision, care, and respect to code.

Very pleased with my new home. Great people working for Eddleman. Rick in the warranty department is a great guy. He will take care of you. Thanks Rick. He will make sure they fix any problems you have with your new home for the first year! Give them a try if your looking to buy a new home.

Disappointed with quality, some design decisions, drainage planning, electrical issues, and response from Eddleman on issues. Quality: cheapest carpet you can buy installed along with nails sticking up at each door, pencil markings left on tiles and some cracked tiles and bubbling in the wood floors. Drainage planning: Every home that I have seen has issues with water drainage and the grass is so soggy and muddy and Edelman has not readdressed these issues. Electrical issues: flickering of lights and circuit breakers tripping. I just received an email from a neighbor that he was experiencing the same thing and multiple people got on to agree including us. Response from Edelman: you can pay for these issues and also no one will respond to me after I was told I would be given a call. With a
