Echo Summit Property Management

A while back there staff did not seem to have it together and were hard to get a hold of. However since the new property manager has been with them, everything seems to run perfectly. I think she actually cares about her Fort Collins tenants and is always friendly and helpful. I think if you are thinking about renting with Echo Summit I would say try it. I have had a good experience and can live my life trusting that I am going to be taken care. I have never had a single issue with them.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! (Notice: Rent was paid on time every month and deposit was given to them at lease signing) Lets start with they lost my deposit and threatened to evict me after I had been living in my apartment for 4 months. After I gave proof of a receipt from them they said it wasn't good enough. I had to pay to have the Money order receipts mailed to me and lone behold it showed that they had been cashed by Echo-Summit! Then a few months later they slapped me with an eviction warning saying my Renters Insurance was not in compliance with the lease. Even when I got the renters insurance I handed them the lease and told them to follow the lease exactly (Which they did). Now I don't hear from them about wanting to stay or leave so I finally call them to let them know I am leaving an

Poor integrity, poor communication, poor service, greedy. They took over management of our rental from another company and the contrast was shocking. When our water heater flooded our basement, communication was not timely and we cleaned up most of it ourselves. They tried to increase our rent by 30% from the previous company. We appealed, they wouldn't move. We gave our notice that we were moving after the end of our lease. When our lease ran out, they tried to charge us another month at the increased rate saying that we hadn't given them notice. We had to get a lawyer involved before they let us go and gave us our security deposit. Stay clear; there are other companies to rent from with more integrity.

Crooks! This company do not pay their sub contractors after they complete safety property inspections for the home owners. Contacted numerous times to attempt to get paid for services rendetef and they just told us (the sub contractors) too bad we will just hire someone else. This property management company owes our company over $2500 and refuse to pay. Dishonest, lie all the time to owners faces and are the bullies of management companies. Terrible customer service. Do not use this property management company unless you want to be ripped off!

The new management in Fort Collins is night and day from previous experiences. Strong communication and prompt in action, I had a bad situation in which I transferred the lease to my roommates and they trashed the house trying to leave it in my name. Very helpful through the process, pain free and easy. I would highly suggest them for the Fort Collins area.
