Eastside Commons

Exceptional family oriented property for young professionals or longtime commuters to NYC. Joe, the property manager, is resourceful and very kind to work with. The building is extremely safe and well maintained and very convenient to downtown Stamford. This is definitely a FIRST CHOICE if you are a "first timer" moving to Stamford, Connecticut or transitional buyers. Pricing is reasonable to rent from an owner or buy, for yourself.

I have lived in this building with my husband and son since 2010. I agree with previous posters that issues with tire thefts have occurred all around downtown Stamford. However, I do feel safe in the area and there is always a heavy police presence. The building is impeccably kept with many amenities and within the units you will not find a condo with better storage and finishes in this price range (2 enormous walk-in closets in our 2 bedroom, ample cabinet and counter space). We also have had a very positive experience with the concierge who treats us like family. There is a real sense of community that I have not had in an apartment/community living in the past. Eastside Commons is a great community of primarily young professionals. We've lived in the building since 2008. The accommodations are great, the property is kept well, the concierge is incredibly attentive and the community is a safe, clean and fun place to live and to build a family. It is close to downtown and has easy access to the new businesses on the Eastside.

I've lived at Eastside Commons since 2008. I would disagree with Ryan's review. There are theft and car issues in general in Stamford, but this is common across other condo/apartment buildings. The community environment at Eastside Commons is extremely attractive. There are families, working professionals, retirees and many other profiles of individuals. Everyone is friendly and enjoys conversing or networking with each other. The concierge of the building has been with the building since it opened, and we personally know and trust him with the safety of our building/community.

The concierge Joe is amazing. Be very careful which landlord/owner you are renting from. Christopher reid and Munira reid are an owner and landlord I would not recommend. Courtyard is nice.
