East Village of Avondale Apartments

I applied for housing today at East Village. I was greeted By Dana. she is so sweet and helpful and professional. I messed up my application twice, but she was very patient with me and did not make me feel like I was getting on her nerves. She explained to me what my income qualified me for and allowed me to fill out an application. I felt like we had known each other and had been friends for a lifetime. So easy to talk to and so people friendly. I can’t wait to make this my new home. I feel this is the place for me.

Even though I’ve been a resident for 3 years and my first time in apartments I’m glad I picked these. There were a few hiccups the first few months/year but the staff did their job to fix and accommodate when needed. I greatly appreciate the staff. Holly has been the best. The entire office team including maintenance. I wish them the best and that they continue to do the best they can to help assist others!!! 🫶🏾💜

I got my tub reglaze it looks amazing it was done in a timely manner and it wasn't long as I thought and the bad odor wasn't as strong as I thought it would be he did an awesome job 💯

Ive been here since 2014 and it was really great the first few years after I moved in the complex. The apartment itself is nice and I love the size of the closet and the space the bathrooms are big its all good and even the maintenance team was great. If i had a problem they were good at fixing things in a a timely manner. I liked to walk around with my kids play at park. Now that ive switched units and all the new people that have moved in and the workers are also new its like a new apartment. Its always something wrong with something in my new unit. I have had so many problems these past few years ive lost count. The residents DONT watch there kids. And i have to come out of my pocket to fix things that my maintenance is supposed to fix.

Thanks to the manager of the maintenance staff, for coming out in a timely manner. Next time please turn off all lights or I’m I’m gonna need a donation to AES.
