East Pointe at Altamonte

We lived here for About a year and never had an issue. The maintenance staff is amazing as well, the few times we did need maintenance the guys were on top of it and handled it quickly and always cleaned up after themselves.. the leasing agents and management was also very friendly and helpful if we ever needed anything they would always help us out. Laundromat is always filthy and machines don't work properly. Office staff changes constantly and they change policies, schedules and rules without any notice. Also, new staff is rude. Maintenance is really slow and don't work properly. There's a lot of trash all over the place all the time. There are always roaches around. I eliminated them with combat. It's a shame because it has a good location and the patio is really nice. The pool is always dirty. The price and fees go up every month. They charge too many ridiculous fees for a service that they don't provide. At least security has improved. 4 months ago there were some obvious drug trafficking hubs and they used to deal drugs in the hallway and parking lot.

I DO NOT recommend East Pointe. Communication with the office is horrendous. Whenever there is a need to speak with the office, it usually takes about 3 phone calls, before anything gets done. East Pointe leads you to believe it’s “high end living”, but ALL the photos depicting their units are deceiving. They call the apartments “updated”, but it’s just new paint on top of the old. We didn’t even receive new carpet in our unit. We had to ask for a new bathroom mirror, handles on cabinets and doors fixed, new security bar, the landscaping outside our patio door to be treated, and the list goes on. Been living at the Villas for just over three years now and I have to say its a decent place to live. I am totally pleased with the efforts management made by hiring new staff to correct the issue with waiting long for repairs. Now within hours maintenance is on the situation. I once made a recommendation for them to place several "doggy litter bins" in an certain area, they took it and within some weeks it was done. The office staff is equally as helpful and courteous. So in my opinion a decent place to call home.

I used to live here and all I can say is that I’m glad to no longer be poor and without a better option of a place to live. My apartment was roach infested. I would ask the company to spray once a week to no avail. One night, I was sleeping and a roach crawled into the sheets and up my arm. That’s when I knew it was time to go. Hell, I moved out the state to a place I assume roaches can’t survive, I was so shook. Also, I’m an extremely clean person that’s never stayed in a place with any type of pest. I actually ended up dumping my furniture because I was too scared one of those roach families would latch on and breed in my new home. Eat me in my sleep!
