I have lived here since January of 2025. The building goes through periods of time where the fire alarm goes off multiple times throughout the night. Then some time will go by where there' nothing and suddenly at 2am it's going off again then 5am etc. Only followed up by an email saying, "last night was a false alarm. Call 911 in a real emergency." It has been an ongoing thing since we moved in. The mail room is also an issue. Unless your package gets dropped off into an Amazon locker, it gets thrown onto a floor shelf but good luck getting notified. They should invest in a system like "luxer one" that requires postal companies to scan in packages. Many peoples diplomas, license plates and other important packages are being left in the room for months on end.

If you enjoy the false fire alarms going off, this is the place for you. The staff sends an email of apology but unfortunately an apology means nothing if there are no solutions/actions put in place to prevent this from happening again. These alarms have been going off occasionally since living here for a year now. There are times that the alarms go off anywhere from 2-3 times in one day. Then a month or two goes by with it not happening at all. And the cycle repeats itself. These alarms have become the boy who cried wolf. No one will know when/if a real fire happens because thats how often they go off.

Imagine being woken up several times in the night by fire alarms, putting on clothes each time, and then exiting the building as required during a fire. Although it turns out that each occurrence was a false alarm. This is what’s happened here on an infrequent basis. It’s happened multiple times this October over a couple days, but it’s like a cycle as it begins again every month or so. Reviews from other residents have cited similar complaints. Management promises to do something about it, but have they delivered if it keeps happening every so often?

We looked at many apartments and townhouses near the Metro and Dwell is by far the best one for a few reasons. It's a fairly new building with and the apartments are built with solid construction - thick walls and doors, granite countertops, premium GE appliances, high ceilings, CAT5, coaxial, and electrical outlets anywhere you might need to install a tv or desktop pc. The community is also fairly small and very safe. But the real beauty of this place is the management and maintenance teams. Anokhi and Richie manage a seamless operation. If you have any problem whatsoever you just walk in to their very welcoming office. They'll make sure you leave with a smile on your face and they'll resolve any problem almost instantaneously with the help of a hardworking and detailed maintenance team a

I lived at Dwell from August 2023-Aug 2024. I moved because the one bedrooms are just too small and dark in the corner units, They hardly get nearly enough sunlight. I had at least 1 maintenance issue a month and I was tired of dealing with it, I am one person and my electric bill was consistently almost $200-$300 per month for ONE person, and I know its because of the HVAC system because it broke MULTIPLE times while I lived there and the maintenance men always fixed it but it was ridiculous to happen so many times. When i moved in, it was broke, it broke I think 2 or 3 more times while i lived there. Now I live somewhere else in a 1 bedroom and my electric is maybe $80 which is much more reasonable for a single person. Other issues, plumbing the toilet constantly ran I had a work order i
