Dutch Village Apartments

I lived at Dutch Village for three years and loved my experience. Maintenance was always responsive(any issue was resolved within 24-48 hours) the grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and my apartment always felt like home. If I could have stayed I would have but unfortunately my needs changed so I didn’t get to stay beyond the three years. If you are in the market for a cozy apartment that feels like home I definitely recommend them!

Old buildings look quaint but can be quite drafty in the winter. NOT THE PLACE FOR WORK-FROM-HOME TYPES. The drone from the lawn mowers and leaf blowers is constant 9 months a year. Today they have been behind my house for over five hours fighting the War on Leaves. Multiple gas-powered tools revving and revving for hours. New windows. Most buildings finally have two washers and dryers each (ours did not for nine months.)

My husband and I have lived here for two years. Once in a downstairs apt and now we've upgraded to a top floor apt in another building. I highly recommend Dutch Village. I work nights, so it was very important to me that I lived in a quiet place. Both buildings we were in are VERY quiet. I never heard footsteps or anything through the walls. It's a quiet place in general. It's beautiful and the courtyard is so nice, too. Dutch Village takes very good care of the buildings and the landscaping. The snow removal in the winter is great, never had any issues with that either. They are also very helpful and if you need anything they take care of you in a timely mannor. Great place to live. Beautiful courtyard, quiet neighborhood, and overall safe place. The apartments are spacious and at a decent price. Maintance is top notch, never had to wait to long to get little repairs or requests answered. The wife and I have lived here for 2 years. We switched apartment buildings once while here and move was easy as can be. They're very accommodating and helped us when we were in a financial slump due to an injury resulting in not being able to work for a short period. Overall dutch village is a nice place to live.

I have been living within the Dutch Village community for ~6 months now, and I have been pleased so far. The community is clean and quiet, with every attempt being made to keep the historic buildings in good repair. I currently reside in one of the "Phase One" buildings which was constructed in the 1940's. The staff are cheerful, and quick to respond to any requests made by occupants. I am considering an upgrade to a slightly larger floor plan, and the staff who has helped me tour six different apartments has been extremely helpful. While it may lack onsite amenities, there are other properties owned by Albany Management that renters have been granted access to. Extra bonus: If one chooses to reside in a Phase One apartment, one's heat, hot water and (cooking) gas are paid for!
