I must say , with out shadow of doubt , as long as I’ve lived in Dogwood Terrace approximately 10 years with two different managers. I could never ask or dream for more acceptance from managers as well as neighbors. The place is kept immaculate and whatever is needed is addressed . However , one has to be reasonable with things can be accomplished since no one are miracle workers. With psychology , one must remember with older people come signs of dementia and Alzheimer’s . That’s to be expected then places of living have to be evaluated. To be expected. However, if loved ones across United States are wanting to move here. I couldn’t request a better place. Let your loved ones examine it for themselves. Best location!

Dogwood terrace apartments are, in my opinion, is the best managed apartments in east Tennessee!! Carla Gibbs is a very special person. She is polite, nice and always respectful to EVERYONE!!! When Carla took over management of the dogwood terrace apartments in knoxville and Lenoir city (also Autumn hills apartments in Oakridge), she turned them into a very beautiful place to live!!! She is always there for the residents. Whether it's business or social. She treats the people like they are her family. I’ve lived at Dogwood Terrace for 13 years and it is wonderful to have a safe and peaceful home where I can enjoy my life around other seniors. The manager is friendly and responds to requests quickly and the apartments and grounds are well maintained. The residents here enjoy this lifestyle and it is much nicer than I ever imagined HUD housing to be. Most of that is due to attitude of the manager who has made some upgrades and accommodations lately to increase ease of access for residents. She has been very responsive to our requests and has an open door policy.

I have lived here for over a year and I love it! It is VERY quiet, safe and the management is top notch. Carla is always very helpful and professional! She cares for her tenants and makes sure all is well maintained! I have NEVER felt unsafe here. It is a community that I'm proud to call home. I recommend this property, to all seniors looking for a quiet and safe place to live❤
