District 42 Apartments & Townhomes

This place is good until you about to move that what you will know who management are. Stayed there for a whole year. Paying my rent accordingly but at the time of moving they charged my account for more than 1000 for cleaning which is absurd, I cleaned the house and left as given. But they fixed nonexistent stuff and within a month the cleaning balance was already on collection. Who do this so the month they lose you they wonna make sure they put on you so they don’t run at a loss. Avoid this place at all cost. They sucks. They deserve 0 stars

8/22/25 (responding to owner): Thank you for your response. I want to be very clear: my concern is not about the cost or difficulty of the charges. My issue is that your team attempted to enforce an Early Termination Policy that I never signed and that was not included in the lease agreement I reviewed and signed at move-in. I made multiple attempts to resolve this and provided the exact verbiage from my lease agreement. Despite this, your team repeatedly referenced a separate policy that was not part of my contract. This is not a matter of miscommunication—it’s a matter of not honoring the signed agreement and attempting to collect fees based on terms I never agreed to. Sending the account to collections for $4,000 after reducing the fee to $600 and ignoring the documentation I provided

Hey I was wrong - this company is terrible just got a $90 administrative fee to prove the electricity is off. Took two weeks to get any customer service - I would highly recommend any place else but if you do make them go through every line of everything and don’t expect any quick answers. $90 admin fee. Did a viewing of District 42 and fisrt off there was very minimal contact with any human to set up the appointment which means my contact information is being stored in some sort of data base they have and who knows what happens to that. I asked where to meet at exactly and they replied with their general address, not with the apt building or office, so I was already parked outside the office and just went in there then we walked to the building where there was a pickup and trailer blocking alot of upfront/handicap parking. This is spose to be a secure building yet the doors were propped open with the rugs, this not only negated the security but also became a tripping hazard. Had a phenomenal tour yesterday, the property is well maintained and even the outside areas looked fabulous considering the weather has been crazy! Crystal was a great tour guide and is well versed in the property and very helpful. Thank you!
