Laurie DesRochers has been my Realtor for 29 years. She is always available for a question and responds nearly immediately. A home purchase is the single most important investment of your life and Laurie understands the stress and worry; especially for first-time Buyers. Her clients become her life-long friends. I would not recommend Laurie as a realtor, even if you’re buying a house from her sellers. She was extremely unresponsive, rude, and wouldn’t take accountability for her actions. Our first interaction with her was when we went to our scheduled showing which she was at (I am guessing the owners wanted her to be, which is fine). While we were there she asked us if the house was in our price range. Clearly we were judged for whatever reason which was very unprofessional. I’m sure to her surprise we put in the best offer and it was accepted. Then, when her clients house didn’t appraise (she did not include an appraisal clause), she asked OUR realtor to take a commission cut.
