I’ve had a very negative experience with Demarco Property Management. Their practices and treatment toward Black tenants and clients feel extremely unjust and discriminatory. The owner, Maria, in particular, shows a lack of respect and makes every effort to avoid engaging with Black people. This type of behavior is unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. This is not only distasteful but also reflects a serious lack of integrity in how they manage their business. I would strongly caution anyone—especially Black individuals or families—before choosing to work with this company.

Recently my mother's car was towed from the building in Torrington even though it was Parked in visitor parking. Supposedly they updated the rules we had no notice of and it wasn't posted anywhere in the building. Of course after it happened signs went up. The biggest problem is for 2 weeks I sent emails and called the facility and left voicemails. Not one person has called me back or responded to me AT ALL. The company services low income people but has a towing company that's very shifty working for them. With all this being said I hope someone responds from the company because I'm still waiting to hear from them.

I was put into a suitation by the rental manager. Am told I haven't paid rent in a year. No late notice. Only an eviction from the court. Nice heads up for me. Never get a return call back from Hartford

Management is not current on Housing Authority Laws, waiting to see if they respond to my online letter which states that renter's have a 9 day grace period before late fees can apply. Know your rights!

I have been a resident of victory gardens for over 3 years now. It is a place that was built with veterans in mind specifically. We are not all the same and have a varied amount of personal issues but that doesn't make us any different than anyone. I write this to say I have never been more mistreated by a management company in my life. I have endured harassment from neighbors being verbally abusive and saying negative racial slurs at my children and myself. Nothing was done by management after numerous " meetings". Now we arrive at this time in place. I have a small dog a shitzu that a neighbor accused of biting her in the leg as he ran after her dog that was not on a leash to the back yard despite witnesses willing to give evidence the newly hired property manager Renee without a police
