My 9 mo pregnant partner is currently enduring an apartment that won’t get cooler than 80 degrees in current 98 - 102 degree summer weather. On top of that her fridge DOES NOT WORK, we have called and called, placed work orders for two weeks and still no action from Dearman Properties. The one day they did come, instead of fixing the issue they reported me for being in the apartment as if I lived there. We have also complained the issued apt key doesn’t work, so ofcourse I was sticking around to secure the open apartment. The excuse we got is that, they won’t fix the a/c issue because someone is living here (me who doesn’t live here) that is not on the lease. Complete SLUMLORDS. I went without heat in the cold month of January, then without air during the hottest months of the summer. They are rude, unprofessional, and don't care how they talk to tenants. Towed my 16 year old son's car because it had 1 flat tire. They won't fix anything in a timely manner. They don't care about anything but the money. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! The entire staff is Trash! Took me to court on some bogus stuff and they lost but of course they kept my deposit. Please think twice before renting from these people, the negative reviews should tell you something. S-L-U-M-L-O-R-D-S

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! MUST READ- I contacted Dearmons property in March looking for a place to live. The receptionist named Morgan gave me the run around for 3 months saying that the apartment wasn't ready & it had to be cleaned. Fast forward, move in to find that the apartment had not been cleaned or finished being painted. The refrigerator wasn't even cleaned out. I contacted the Dearmons about this issue. They said the would get someone to fix it. I've been in this townhome for 4 months now & NO ONE has come to fix anything at all. This was the icing on the cake, I had a water leak that they claimed that they would the care of. SLUM LORDS!! The entire management team is an absolute joke, they’re untimely with any repairs or maintenance, staff is allowed to harass tenants with no reprimand, neighbors are inconsiderate, I can’t stress enough that this is a terrible place to live. If you’re a terrible tenant, then I highly recommend them! Mildew and mold growing in nearly every unit. Water leaks from the ceiling, still hasn’t been fixed. Stove was out for weeks before they repaired it. Air was out for weeks before they repaired it. Dryer has been out for two weeks and counting, still no repair. I could go for hours talking about how bad this management team is! The worst experience I have had!! They are incredibly unprofessional, unresponsive and rude. They have no respect for the residents or their time. About the comment they made. We called literally for a WHOLE year. All we received was disrespect. Didn’t think about including details, but they had us living for 2 weeks in an apartment that had even dirty bathrooms and roaches in the floor, without being able to use the stove, washer, or dryer, even though the move in date was ALSO stated in the contract we signed.
