we bought our new davidson home 9 years ago. recently we had our attic treated for termites, of which there were few. HOWEVER, during that treatment, a hole in the roof was noticed, yes a hole, aka a construction defect. that was 6 weeks ago. davidson finally sent a rep out to inspect (after many unreturned calls and attempts to get someone from their company to check). finally and today a tech was to be here between 8a and 10am. no call of confirmation of course, so we followed up. the tech is now to arrive around 1pm. bottom line, we waited all day, no show. apparently the technician's truck broke down, seriously? while we do like our home with a hole in the roof, we do not at this time recommend their unprofessional approach to repair a construction defect.

Davidson Homes in Delta Coves are absolutely stunning. My family & I are obsessed with our beautiful home. The quality is great and Todd + Sydney have been wonderful. I am very thankful for this community we have been able to create.

Ask people who know residential real estate and you'll find out that Davidson is considered the gold standard in the home building business. There are real people with decades of experience creating and designing these homes ... it's not just a multi-national corporation operated by the accounting department. Delta Coves was honored in 2020 as the best new home community in the country - that's a pretty big deal.

Davidson Communities attention to detail, customer service and absolute professionalism is the cornerstone of their business model. Highly recommend.

Davidson is easily the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their homes are beautiful in many regards, but they are obnoxiously unwilling to fix even simple issues. I've been in my home for over a year, and there are still two major issues that are unresolved and impact the quality of living. They promise over and over to fix it, and then disappear for months on end. They finally authorized a subcontractor to fix one issue but they refused because Davidson wouldn't advance the money and had allegedly failed to pay them in the past. I've heard the same about Davidson from almost every subcontractor that has come through. I would recommend being very careful before buying from Davidson and be ready to pay big dollars out of pocket or have a good lawyer on standby to sue.
