Cottonwood apartments

I am a current tenant and I do not care if there is attempted retaliation for posting my complete honesty. I have had no ac for a month and the freezer on my refrigerator does not work. I have multiple texts to the landlord and get no reply, she calls and is incredibly condescending and tries telling me it's just frozen from me over using it despite the fact her own maintenance team has confirmed it is a coolant leak they cannot fix on their own. Constant plumbing problems, there was literally sewage in my dishwasher (I have pictures). I will remove this review only if the communication improves and I get a timeline on when these maintenance issues will be resolved. Btw a review below me is from an Amanda and we were neighbors, everything she stated is completely true.

Pros: Cheapish, Pet Friendly Cons: Apartment was not cleaned at all when we moved in. Lots of damage that had been painted over instead of fixed. Our building has plumbing issues so it smells like sewage most days. Management will threaten extra fees not listed in the lease. Apartments are quite small. Rent increases every year. Management is dishonest, get everything in writing and make copies when dealing with them!

Needs better upkeep the grounds are not kept up
