Cortland Uptown Altamonte

I’ve been living here for six months, and overall, it’s not worth choosing to live here. There’s a reason they offer two months of free rent. Unfortunately, we made the decision to rent here based on the photos, not in person, but the truth is that it's a scam.That's why they don't have photos of the areas that I'm about to mention. The building feels unsafe. Anyone can walk in because there is no access control at the entrances. Last week, my bicycle was stolen from the secured parking garage on the third floor, inside the building, and management took no responsibility. When I reported it, they barely reacted and offered nothing but excuses. The common areas are also poorly maintained. The hallways have filthy carpets that are never cleaned, and the trash chute is constantly overflowing

I just moved here in November! I owned my home in Fl for 23 years, I sold it and moved to Alpharetta Ga(which I loved) came back and here I am in an apartment complex that I absolutely love! Cortland Uptown is beautiful, very well kept and great neighborhood! The staff at the leasing office are absolutely amazing! Hanna and Portia are always available and willing to help at anytime! They listen and do what’s needed to be there for me! The maintenance guys are very friendly too, very knowledgeable and prompt! Everyone here have welcomed me in a very professional and friendly way at the same time! (Not an easy thing to do) Thank you and continue doing what you do!!!

This place is an absolute disaster. I could write every single thing wrong with this building but it would be too long. The 5 star reviews are FAKE. I think the worst thing that happened to us during our stay was getting our 4 TIRES STOLEN FROM A “SECURED” GARAGE. NO CAMERAS. NO SECURITY. NO HELP. This place is so dangerous. Anyone can walk into the building.

I have been living here over a year and the property is amazing. From the apartment itself to the nearby stores and restaurants along with the lake at Cranes Roost, Cortland is a great place to live. The staff from the leasing office to the facilities staff such as Iris, her and everyone is amazing.

Be careful is you are sensitive to noise! I was very mindful of choosing an apartment- only top floor so I didn’t have to deal with noise from neighbors above. I didn’t know my biggest issue would be noise from outside. I leased a west facing top floor apartment and all day long I hear lots of road noise (cars driving by, honking, revving engines, music, etc.) sirens, leaf blowers, airplanes and even conversations from the streets below. When I toured the unit the noise was not noticeable likely as I was only in there for a quick few minutes and because all of the fans and ac were on so I didn’t notice the noise. I was aware there may be some white noise from being so close to I-4 but didn’t realize I would hear every passing car down on the street below so loudly, especially cars with lou
