Compton Court Apartments

The previous review of 1 star is wrong, the Compton Court apartments are not a Dorfman property, they are Van Rooy. I have lived here for 7 years and I love my apartment so much. The office and maintenance staff are wonderful, any problems are fixed immediately. I also love my neighbors and wouldn't live anywhere else! The location is perfect.

I have lived here for 6 years. The location is perfect. I don't drive, so being able to walk or bike to almost anything, including Kroger, Target, the Glendale Library, and numerous restaurants works great for me. Maintenance is always fast and friendly. Only drawback is that because of the age of the property (I think pre-World War II), the kitchens and bathrooms are tiny. Closet space is a bit limited but there is a full basement for each unit.To reiterate what the previous review said, the earlier one-star review is clearly for a different property. Dorfman does not own this complex, Van Rooy does.

When stuff breaks, it gets fixed. When entries need to happen, I get notice. The building has also been upgraded to fiber optic internet. Most importantly despite it being a Saturday night, Mike went out of his way to deliver a spare care to my apartment sitter. He is truly a guy you can count on to get things done.

Crooks don't rent from them. Don't rent from Dorfman properties they are very rude when you need to address any issues
