Compass Landing

We have enjoyed being residents here since July of 2011. Ohio will always be home for us but truly love being residents of Newport, NC. The southern hospitality has been wonderful and living here has been like living at a resort persay. No more yard work or shoveling snow has been quite the blessing. Although the upkeep is not what it was the 1st 5 years we lived here, it still remains a nice place to call home. We have had many friends visit from all over and comment what a great complex and amenities offered. Our family. Specifically our 3 grandchildren have enjoyed coming to gma and gpas on weekends and all summer long while on break from school. We have made so many memories that we all will cherish forever. The apartments is nice. However, when moving in the fees associated with the apartments are a hassle. For example, you have to be in person to get water to the apartment which comes at a high deposit. This isn’t stated at all in the lease. However, the staff are nice and the place is nice. The pictures used only show the floor plans not the actual pictures of the apartment. The apartment also does not have a W/D as stated.

We have lived at Compass Landing for 4 years and we are very happy living here. The Compass Landing team are awesome at they do everyday for all the residents. The maintenance team are the best. Always quick to fix anything need repairs. The office team are amazing as well always available for any needs of the residents. Additionally they plan get together’s for a the residents every so often.

I have lived here for almost 4 years and Michael and Chris have helped me in so many ways. Michael has been there from setting up my apps. to making sure everything is done. Chris has made sure my apartment is perfect and I never have to worry about anything 💯

I received an email recording my maintenance request which was nice. I needed window screens with large holes replaced so I could open windows for fall breeze. Maintenance was here within 30 minutes, removed 3 screens, took to repair and returned within an hour to re-install. I was very pleased.
