Colony House Apartments

Great place! Affordable and nice community. The staff in the office is IMPRESSIVE! They always answer the phone and any questions I have. The landscaping is maintained and maintenance is quick to fix an issue. I had my ac unit go out while living here but you would’ve never noticed. That’s how quick they are. If I could give more stars than five I would. Sad to leave such a wonderful place but I got a job out of the city. I would recommend this place to anyone in the ft Walton area.

Edit 10/1/25: So Our lease expired yesterday 😢 but I just wanted to leave a review for the complex because it's been almost a year since my original review. We LOVED living here, Matinence was professional and convenient, and the office staff were lovely. When we had loud neighbors, the complex talked to them and resolved everything. And we never had a problem after that. Everything was professional and clean, and I'm sad to say goodbye. We definitely recommend considering Colony House if your looking for an apartment complex that establishes community. First of all the office staff and maintenance team are phenomenal. They are quick to solve your issues friendly to Get along with. The property is an amazing property With friendly neighbors everybody gets along. I have been here for quite a few years now and it is the best it’s ever been and I can only see it getting better!!! Keep up the good work.

I just renewed my lease due to the amazing staff and the best experiences i’ve had while living here. You will love Kristy who works in the office. She brings a warm and caring attitude to the property and is super helpful to all the tenants. We’ve had our ac go out on us in the middle of the night and maintenance was there first thing in the morning. Any problems we’ve had were solved in no time. If I recommend someone who was looking for a place it would be here!! Update: Recently the complex has been bringing in fun food trucks for the community to enjoy! Super great idea especially for the summer time!

The apartment is precious to me and my family. I just love this apartment. My kids also like it very much. My apartment is nearest to the playground and swimming pool, my kids can play there. In the summer we can swim there. 24/7 maintenance is available which is very important. There is a laundry room for all tenants. The behavior of the manager and official people are really very nice.
