We fell in love with one of the model homes and decided to buy with CW Urban pretty fast since we didn't want to miss out on the lot we wanted. We did not have a buyer agent but our sale rep Ryan helped make the whole process smooth and easy, from a piece of empty land to a finished beautiful home. He answered our million of questions with care and walked us through every step. We were updated with every progress on the house and informed of next steps. Ryan is very experienced, fair and honest and we really appreciate that. You could tell that CW takes pride in their quality and does their best to make customers happy. Everything is well thought out and the whole process from picking options and designs to every walk-through and closing on the home was made very easy and efficient. Bein

CW Urban (Cole West) has been one of the most disappointing builders I have ever worked with. Our community’s experience has followed the same pattern over and over: cut corners, deny responsibility, delay action, and leave homeowners to clean it up. Key issues from our documented punch list and correspondence: Construction defects dismissed, not resolved. Obvious issues such as damaged concrete, failed irrigation, defective pickleball gates, spa problems, and unfinished or altered common areas have been met with “built to plan,” “out of warranty,” or “new look and feel” responses instead of proper repairs. Many of these problems were reported within warranty periods and on organized punch lists. They were ignored long enough that CW Urban now tries to call them “owner” or “HOA” problems

I want to share our experience with Cole West Builders, the developer behind the ROAM community in Mountain Green, Utah, to caution anyone considering purchasing a home in one of their developments. Since moving into our home, we’ve discovered that Cole West left behind extensive damage throughout the neighborhood — broken curbs, torn-up streets, compacted soil, destroyed landscaping, and general construction neglect caused by heavy equipment. Rather than taking responsibility for the damage their crews caused, they’ve attempted to shift the burden of repair costs onto the homeowners. What’s most disappointing isn’t just the physical damage — it’s the complete lack of accountability and unwillingness to make things right. Many of us purchased here believing we were buying into a well-bui

Issues: Landscape rock blocked sewer backing up toilets and other plumbing for 4 days ( a neighbor had the same problem!) Leaky roof ( 2 other neighbors had same problem) Drain pipe only buried 1/2 inch under dirt, pipe was creased to fit into a joining pipe creating a huge leak. Damaged ( smashed pipe buried) . Brittle sprinkler pipes. Connection from city water hookup to sprinkler back flow leaked. (2 other neighbors had same problem) Cracked finish work. 90% of joints in door casings cracked within 6 months of owning the home. Big cracks in baseboards. The warranty department needs to be a quality control department. I agree with the statement that Cole West builds a higher end CHEAP home. I would discourage anyone looking at one of their homes. Highly disrespectful! Don’t let them build by you! - Refuses to talk to us - Destroyed a tree on my property - Removed large landscaping rocks from my property (oh and taunts us with them by now having them as their own decorative rocks) - No days of peace, not even Sunday Can’t wait to see what happens next! Probably will steal more rocks and kill more trees.
