One of the absolute worst living experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life. First of all, I’m paying $1000 a month with a shoebox which I would be able to tolerate if the security weren’t so horrible. The building that I lived in was sold off right before my lease ended with absolutely no notice to me as a tenant. Shout out to Mike the only glue that was holding the building together. Hopefully he’s still working there. Otherwise I wouldn’t expect their buildings to be standing for much longer. The front and back doors to the building would not lock and I would contact management about this issue up to 14+ times a month without it being resolved. Pipe burst and I had management teams in and out of my apartment with absolutely no explanation, followup, or decent clean-up. Homeless people

I can’t believe this company is still in business with how they manage a number of their buildings. I’ve been lucky enough to move out of their building on Winthrop, but it was bad. Mold that CLK decided they would just keep painting over it for MONTHS until the building water had to be shut off because… it’s mold… I had a sewage smell in my apartment unit the ENTIRE lease and had to put up a tarp and lose part of the rooms just to make it not smell so bad. The roof had a hole in it all winter that again, went ignored that dripped into my apartment for months, and when the weather got warm the paint on the walls where it happened started to bubble up because of the moisture behind the walls. Lived there in basement unit, very cold, has roaches, and very poor security, doors are always broken. Bathroom fills with mold every 3 months, no ventilation, no kitchen exhaust. Stay away from 7102 N SHERIDAN basement unit

I'm writing this review after moving out. The time I spent here was quite peaceful. Most issues were taken care of in a fairly timely matter. There was a plumbing issue which caused us some inconvenience but CLK covered the cost of 2 out of 3 nights we had to spend in a hotel. I would say they are communicative rather than avoidant which is nice when unexpected things happen. The elevators weren't working some of the time but it didn't matter to me too much so I didn't really pay attention.

Management is so ineffective; I’ve emailed so many times while living here and they have never responded. Karolina and her team need to step it up. Really disappointed how I never get answers for even basic questions asked during their open hours. For this price, they should at least be checking their emails. And also their hours are from 8am-5pm but I’ve gone at 8am before there would be no one answering the intercom.
