To be totally honest, it depends on the building you end up in. Maintenence is responsive on important issues and the office is friendly. But your neighbors can ruin the experience. If too many people repeatedly break things, they stop fixing them. We've been without a buzzer for over a year now because people wouldn't stop abusing it. Front door locks are broken more than they are working. They get broken so much that it's practically impossible for maintenance to keep them fixed. The blame lays with the people, not the company. My biggest negative is that your rent WILL go up at least 100$ every single time you renew your lease. No matter what. This place is a horrible place to live. The new owners just made it low income but raised the rent which makes no sense and kicked out a bunch of people who have been living there for years and have children as young as a few months. Full time students were removed from their home as well as single parents and senior citizens. We had nothing but problems with the tub draining and it was never fixed. I moved out of that place at the beginning of April and was told that I would get my security deposit back within 25 days and that nothing would be deducted from it after we did a walk though exit with management. I just got the security deposit check yesterday and it was addressed to the wrong person and not the full amount. It's like pulling teeth trying to get anything done with these new ow

The new management is working on taking out the trash (drug dealers, drug addicts and general urbanized trailer trash) There are good tenants, and there are rotten ones. Overall, my building has been better lately and the new tenants are good hard working people. Rome was not built overnight and Rockingham Village Apartments will not be perfect overnight but the efforts of the staff trying to improve this place is absolutely obvious.

extremely dirty, poorly kept apartments. Buildings are neglected and out dated. Dumpster is constantly over flowing, poor plowing job during winters, they only come and plow ONE time, and they don't salt or sand the walkways so it gets very slippery. Neighborhood is sketchy (drug related incidences, and Car Break-in's). New Management Company are super unhelpful. The only positive here is, it's 3 miles from the beach, and heat and hot water are included, when it works.

Apartments are small, if youre looking to get a place cheaper, move inland. Maintence is nice but they never get work orders properly from the office, so dont yell at them. The pool hasnt been open in 2+ years since the new owners came in. The pool prior to the purchase, was beautiful, clean and fun for everyone. Strict rules though.
