Chesmar Homes East

We love our Chesmar home. There quality of interior work is great. The reason for a 1star is. I have had a drainage issue along both property lines for over a year. They have had the same company come remove dirt and lay grass 4 different times and now that my 1 year is up they refuse to come back and fix it correctly. We have not had rain for 4 days and I have standing water all along my fence line. The mosquitoes are horrible. The fence is going to fall eventually. Not happy with the finish out contractor Jon.

Building a home with Chesmar is a very positive experience. Kevin Lydon (New Home Consultant) and Antonio Valdez (Construction Manager) keep me updated weekly through emails and pictures of the progress on my home. They are both willing and ready to answer any question I might have and gave suggestions in making my home perfect for me. In addition to excellent customer service during the building process, Holly Matthews (designer) helped tremendously helping coordinate the various finishes in the home. I would recommend Chesmar without hesitation.

Absolutely the best home experience ever. The house is great and the attention to detail is second to none. The builder's response to any and all of our concerns was prompt. Kevin is quite literally the best salesman ever -- you never feel like you are being sold anything. You always feel like you are coming home. Matt is just as great - he takes personal pride in making sure your new house is your HOME. Here's the other thing -- do your research -- the materials Chesmar uses, and the things behind the walls that no one ever sees -- that's where the value is. It isn't in the sinks and the tile, it's in the construction. From the insulation on the outside of the house, to the insulated garage doors, to the foam seals around the windows. I can't say enough. Amazing! If you are looking for a solid home builder in Texas, Chesmar is your builder. We built a home in Savannah and have been completely blown away through out the process. Everything that we were told would be done was done, by or before the date specified. Todd and Ray have become like family to us. They have explained everything to us and we can tell that they truly care about us and not the $$. We have seen many homes and Chesmar had the most bang for your buck by far. The quality and workmanship are also top notch. We have been involved in every detail of the build and have seen it as it was built from the smallest pebble to completion.
