This company is widely known as being shady and swindling people. The subdivision that i live in was created 20 years ago. I have been there for 10 years. Not once in The 20 years have any residents been responsible for road maintenance. It’s in all of our deeds that Chase is the “Association” and that it’s their responsibility for the maintenance. Now today they are trying to tell us that it’s not their responsibility and never has been. Next step will be to get an attorney and file a lawsuit if they don’t claim responsibility.

We hired Chase Custom Home and Finance for our home addition. Service was horrible. Project was only supposed to take a year. They were unable to complete it after 2.5 years. We had to bring in other contractors towards the end to complete the work and repair shoddy workmanship. If you are thinking of hiring them you will be better off doing the project general contracting yourself, managing the subcontractors and purchasing the material. An example of an issue we had was when the garage did not meet fire code because there was a gap between where the door was hung to the ceiling and the drywall. The project manager came in and out mud up to fill the hole where the door was hung onto the ceiling. It did not come out as I would expect work from a professional home builder.

I found it a challenge to get a consultation appointment. I called to set-up a meeting, it was cancelled the day prior (which I understand), but I have called back 2x to re-schedule with no word back. This is on top of leaving a message about 6 months ago when I tried the first time with no return call. Based on this, I moved on to different builders (who were easier to meet with).
