CENTURY 21 Coastland Realty

I made a reservation in July 2025 with this firm for a condo rental October 17-19, 2025. I requested a specific unit and was told it was available. I paid the deposit, and then paid the total. I received confirmation from C-21 Coastland on 9/17/25 of the total payment for the unit I reserved. I arrived at the office for checkin on 10/17/2025; the office closed early that day so no one was around to check in but the envelope was left in the mailbox for me. I drove to the unit and discovered that the reservation had been changed to a different condo in a completely different development. When I looked back at my emails, I found an email dated 9/10/25 with a confirmation for rental on that unit. It was a routine email but there was nothing that referred to a change in the reserved unit

We have stayed at 104 Channel Drive, Emerald Isle, for 2 years now. The best part about this house is the location to the beach, so easy! and the pool, which is large and so great for our family. This house is spacious and well laid out. The A/C works great, as do all of the appliances. The house is in need of some serious TLC, however. I am not clear who is responsible for the upkeep, but we found the same things broken this year as last. Broken kitchen drawer, broken blind hanging down in one of the bedroom windows. One of the doors leading from a bedroom to the deck has been kicked in. There's a broken deck chair that is without a leg that was on the deck LAST YEAR and is still there. We have vacationed in Emerald Isle for over 10 years. We have rented several homes for the week with rental agencies in the area. This is the first negative review I have written. We rented a large beautiful home on the sound. The house was beautiful, but was in need of a deep cleaning. We rented the busiest week of summer and the home looked like it had not been thoroughly cleaned for months. It was clean enough, but for the price we paid, and the type of home, it was lacking in cleanliness. There was mold on air vents, the shower heads were clogged with limescale, garbage disposal did not work, the yard was in desperate need of trimming of bushes, trees, etc. There were so many spider webs and fire ant hills in the yard and deck area that it was hard to let the kids enjoy being o

We had a wonderful vacation through Century 21 Coastland Realty. We had a schedule conflict on our part and had to reschedule our trip. Century 21 Coastal Realty graciously worked with us to find a time that worked with our plans and got the reservation changed. I also had several concerns about the rental due to a previous bad experience with another company. They were patient with me in answering my questions and assuring that there would be no issues. We had a wonderful trip and look forward to booking another stay with Century 21 Coastal Realty again.

Century 21 Coastland Realty is the best. Martha is truly the best at what she does. The young lady at the desk at our check-in was amazing as well and I'm sorry I cannot remember her name. This office is very friendly and professional. We stayed at Lucky Pelican and it was absolutely gorgeous. It was perfect for us. It was decorated beautifully and I loved that it was a short walk to the beach. It was very clean and well taken care of. Thank you so much for the recommendation Martha and we WILL be back. It was a very relaxing, amazing week.
