We recently relocated from Massachusetts. Since all the communication was handled over the phone, we signed the lease agreement remotely. However, after moving in, we encountered several issues in the apartment. The dishwasher trays were rusted and not functioning properly, there was no curtain rod in the bathroom, there were multiple cracks in the flooring, some door handles and cabinets were not closing correctly, and the balcony screen door was not properly fixed. I submitted a maintenance request online and also visited the leasing office to report these concerns. It's been about a year since I visited Cedar Trace and from what I experienced this week was a TOTAL 180!! The vibe that you get now when you walk in the leasing office is tops in the area! The new leasing agents are friendly and professional. The new wall paint and renovations to the clubhouse are amazing. The new manager Shannon is bringing something new and fresh to Cedar Trace. Shannon was very pleasant to work with and seems to care about your concerns. Cedar Trace is really turning it around. If you are looking for a place in the Maryland Heights area, definitely give Cedar Trace Apartments a look! Nothing is perfect but the new leadership and staff are at least putting forth effort!!

I have raised the maintenance request online and as always it took more than a week for the leasing office staff to address the issue. I am not surprised and that’s a usual thing soo The good part is our recent work order was completed by a new maintenance technician TJ, and I was genuinely impressed with his professionalism. He was respectful, courteous with positive attitude and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the visit. He quickly assessed the issue and replaced our old garbage disposal with a brand-new one, completing the job efficiently and with great attention to detail. Great addition to the team!

Lived here 6 months so far. Everything is pretty much what I expected (everything is good enough if you’re looking for a standard living space but nothing fancy/nuce). Our neighbors are nice. But maintenance isn’t ideal. We’ve submitted a few things over the course of the time we’ve lived here and usually it takes 1-2 weeks to have them to come to look at it. None of it was emergency stuff but normal issues for an apartment (air not circulating right, cleaning out ducts for dryers…). The maintenance guys have been nice, I’m sure they’re just busy. Today we had TJ fix our dryer vent (our clothes weren’t drying due to duct build up) and he was nice and professional and took care of it when he was here today. TJ was great!
