RENTER BEWARE!! Lived here for multiple years. This will be my last. Rent is low for the area for a reason, and it's no longer worth the stress. In the nearly 5 years I've lived here nearly all correspondence to Essex management has been ignored. This started on day 1 when I was promised a refurbished unit. My viewing was repeatedly delayed until my actual move-in date. That is when I learned the unit was nearly 5 years old, I spoke with previous tenant. She asked to view the apt because management was attempting up charge her for damages she did not create and for work that was never done. I allowed her in to view. The parking garage constantly leaks waste water onto vehicles. This permanently damaged my vehicle's paint before I realized a leak was directly above it. I've since moved s

Move here if you want your packages stolen and for administration to tell you they can't do anything about it! I have had 4 packages stolen since moving here at the end of November. In each case, the delivery drivers provided photos showing exactly where the packages were left. The CCTV camera directly faces my locker. Despite this, instead of having a proper conversation or reviewing the footage, administration called me and immediately shut the conversation down without allowing me to explain- stating there was nothing they could do. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to even review footage makes it clear that tenant concerns are not a priority here. If you value your belongings or expect responsive management, I would strongly reconsider living in this building.

Loud noise from children all day and night. Homeless in the garage, grabbing trash every night. Mail got stolen, kids stole the package, left them unsupervised, and the worst part is they never tell you until you live here. Utilities for trash, water, and hot water: they combine them and divide the cost per room. The paid cost for a 2-bedroom is $210-$250 a month on top of the rent, even when you're not home, which will make you faint. I ask other apartments; it's never over $100, some only $50. Agree with many reviews, management is memorable, you're never going to forget this nightmare or want to be a part of Essex ever again.

Please do not rent these apartments; the management is very poor—definitely a -10 out of 10 rating. No one replies to your emails or answers your calls. They take no responsibility; all the responsibility falls on you. We signed the lease on September 6th, but as of September 11th, we still cannot move in because the apartment is not ready yet. I have never encountered a property like this before.

Worst renting experience of my life. Units flood when it rains. Feces, urine, and trash litter the hallways. Management will ignore you & lie about making repairs. Homeless wander the garage & sleep in the lobby. I don’t ever write reviews but feel like I need to warn everyone to stay far away from any Essex property!
