Renters be warned: The basement of 1617 Kensington Ave., Building D has repeatedly flooded with raw sewage and human waste, making the laundry hookups and tenant storage completely unusable. This problem has been ongoing for years, since 2022, and is well known to management, yet no permanent repairs have been made. Instead, management does little more than remove the feces, pour bleach around the area of the puddle and leave contaminated tenant property behind. The situation is not only unsanitary but unsafe — tenants have lost belongings and can’t safely do laundry. I have documented the conditions and even involved the town and health department because management has failed to take meaningful action. If you value safe, sanitary housing, look elsewhere.

If I could give negative stars I would. Me and my significant other lived in their 825 center rd building in apartment 25. Whether the management knew or not we moved into unsafe living conditions such as bedbugs crawling through the floor from the lower apartment 21. After 6 months of being bit and visiting doctors in agony we finally found what the source was after think it was spider bites. We informed management and they refused to believe us. We had to hire an exterminator on our own dime to get management to do anything. Finally there was some solution and their exterminator started multiple rounds but still bugs. We asked to terminate the lease early since I was severely allergic and the issue hadn’t resolved in two months as we were still getting bit even living in the middle of ou

If zero was an option I'd choose it. My daughter lived in the West Seneca location for 11 months and had nothing but problems living there. The building is old and poorly maintained. We assume it is infested with mold since the entire time living there her physical health declined and she developed severe asthma and allergy problems. Within 2 weeks at a new place her heath issues improved dramatically. Management is far less than professional. They communicate with text messages and global warnings instead of approaching the tenant in question individually. My daughter moved into an apartment with a sliding glass door that wouldn't lock which is a HUGE safety concern. They closed out the maintenance request without ever doing anything to it. It was tough to rate them a 1. Just letting you know. I started a petition against Castellum Management slumlord in Lockport! I have lived in my apartment for 9 years long before they came around. Since they arrived our rent has gone up $400 plus dollars without a single improvement to the common facilities. I have had over 20 floods come in to my apartment without any resolution. Our washers and dryers have been broke at least 80 percent of the time. We can keep going??? I will be moving on June 1st! Talk to My lawyer PLEASE! SLUMLORDS!!!!!!!!!!

Lived in the Lockport apartments for about 4 years now. Castellum management took over a few years ago and this place has gone downhill since. Our hot water tank has gone three times this year causing floods and many of my neighbors to have to replace and throw out the items in their storage space. NEVER once has anyone from the office sent a text message (which is the main way they communicate needs and issues around the complex) to inform tenets of what is happening. Today we have brown water coming out of our pipes and again not a single message to the tenants to inform them of what’s happening. Multiple times including today I’ve woken up, from a 12 hour night shift, and I have to find somewhere else to shower and get ready before going in for another night shift. It’s disgusting how
