Carriage Pointe at Aquia

My experience with Carriage Pointe was great! They gave me a chance to get my life together when other companies wouldn't. I am grateful and appreciate it. The front office ladies where very friendly and welcoming. Great experience with them. The maintenance team was amazing, punctual and courteous. The grounds were always cleaned and there were several trash locations. Highly recommended and hopefully you get the same experience.

Nicole Pastell is the "Property Manager" and literally has the worst customer service ever. On Wednesday a tree fell on my vehicle that was parked in a spot I am forced to park in, it is my assigned parking space given by the office. As I drove around that is the only spot where a tree could even fall on an assigned space. I guess they were too dense in the head to cut the already leaning tree down. But they recently cut down 2 trees around a dumpster. I guess that took priority. Gotta protect that dumster right? Anyways, Nicole Pastell the "Property Manager" called me on Friday morning to give me a fake concerned courtesy call letting me know she is "oh so sorry" and she is "working on it" with such urgency in her voice, and she needed me to give her an estimate of the damages. Dear Angela Wilson & Dana Singleton This community was an extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. Everything was so beautiful that I felt like I was at a resort. The office staff was extremely accommodating especially Angela Wilson & Dana Singleton, with this pandemic they helped ease the tension of eviction for me and my family for a period of time that priceless in my eyes. . It could not be better located and was amidst a lot of shopping, restaurants, transportation and schools. It offered amenities that most communities did not." I can go on and on end of story if your looking for your next place to call home please ONLY consider this community as soon as your lucky enough to have a slot available.

I am with everybody else that commented before me on this new lady. While she hasn’t personally verbally abused me (I am NOT the one), I do agree on the negative change this has brought to the community. First off, the number listed on google for the office isn’t correct so I had to ask the maintenance guy for the number. Called there and left voicemails, but no call back. No email address to communicate with Ms. Nicole, nothing! Before her, I could send a text to the property manager’s work cellphone and I would get a reply immediately or soon after. Communication was great through email as well with Ms. Angela. Another thing, I was most definitely catfished by this apartment before I moved in. This apartment complex could be better if it were not for the management. (1) They do not care for the safety of their residents. This past winter they went multiple days without clearing the snow. When they finally did, they destroyed a speed bump and left the remnants scattered and frozen to the driveway. (2) They are very quick to forcefully assert their rights against you. This past new year, my auto-payment did not go through. Rather than sending an email or letter, the complex sent a threat of eviction. I was able to pay the same day, but a more cordial email would have been appreciated before threats of eviction. (3) Finally, the staff gives very short notice if they need to enter your unit for some reason, and are not flexible if you cannot accommodate their scheduling.
