Carrara at Cypress Creek

I would not recommend this property. I have lived here since August, having moved from out of state, and I had to change apartments after only two months. The complex appears to be outdated and in disrepair, and it seems that maintenance is not adequately addressed. Sections of the fence are missing or collapsing, and the entrance gate is broken and remains open, which could pose safety concerns as unauthorized individuals can potentially access the premises at any time. Additionally, there is a noticeable amount of dog waste around the property. As a person moving from out of state, I would have appreciated the opportunity to view the property beforehand, especially as a single woman, but that was not possible. The apartment I moved into is also deteriorating, and it has been challenging

If i can i would give zero Star Very disappointing experience. When we moved in, management promised many things, but none were delivered. These are old apartments with poor maintenance. Our bathroom sink has been leaking, the bathtub/shower was never fixed in 6 months, the kitchen smells, cabinets are outdated, and the heater doesn’t work in cold weather. Even the ceiling fan didn’t work during summer. Maintenance requests are ignored or delayed for weeks, sometimes over a month. Management is helpful only before you sign the lease—after that, they stop caring. The neighborhood is also not well maintained, with neighbors smoking and pet waste not being cleaned up. Only staying to finish my lease. Would not recommend.

Before going into the office I walked up to the pedestrian gate which was unsecured with painters tape. I then let myself in and walked the grounds to get a sense of the atmosphere since I would be living here as a single woman. I noticed much of the perimeter fencing was missing sections of planks as well as the entrance or exit gate not functioning, being fully open. I was skeptical about the safety but decided to venture to the office to ask about pricing and tour a unit. The saying of you get what you pay for definitely rings true. While much more affordable than the majority of apts I have been looking at, I could not over look the lack of security in a complex boasting upgrades of “quartz” counters that were merely paint resulting in an upcharge of about $50. Living here has been a nightmare. The gate is never shut letting anyone and everyone in. My fiancé's truck was broken into and the apartment did nothing about it. My apartment was almost broken in. Which is a recurring issue. People are always smoking, it smells like dope and weed. It's very sketchy. Whenever my lease is up I'm gone. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! I know it's cheap but being safe is better than being sorry. Pay the extra money for something nicer.

Do not move here management is terrible. We have been with out hot water for 3 days now every other week the hot water is off and the only updates the office have is that a part is needed and then the office will send the message at 5:40 when the office is near closing.
