Hey everyone, I live in Ct. and bought a retirement property from Karen Congilaro/Carolina Pines Realty. Karen assured me , she sold a lot of properties to out of state clients and was willing to make the process as easy as possible for me by phone, emailing, and texting. Oh my goodness! I cannot begin to say how incredibly wonderful Karen was in helping us sell my mother's property in South Carolina!! My mother has been living with us for a decade now in Colorado and is elderly. She was renting out her SC property, but when her mental capacities started declining, we realized that it was time to sell it. Karen had a big job doing all of this long distance and we all realized that due to my mother's mental decline, there were a lot of documents missing, missed property tax payments, poor state of the grounds, etc. Karen was a CHAMPION at getting all of this sorted out and kept in close communication with us throughout the entire process. Karen did a fantastic job handling our transaction as a buyers agent. She was actually the listing agent on the property we purchased and we didn’t intend to use a realtor. However, upon her showing us the house, spending a little time with her, and seeing how she worked, we offered her the opportunity to also represent us under dual agency.
