Capistrano Apartments

Longer post BUT please read: Living here has been an overall positive experience. Like many apartment communities, there have been some challenges at times utilities such as water, electricity, or AC/heating have been shut off with shorter notice than I would have preferred, and there have been occasional issues related to homelessness in the surrounding area. Those situations have not always been ideal. That said, what truly sets this complex apart is the office manager, Charissa Sage. Out of all of the office managers we’ve had, she’s been a top tier manager. She genuinely goes above and beyond for her residents. I lived here for about a year and had a really positive experience overall. The leasing office staff are excellent. They’re friendly, helpful, understanding, and quick to respond whenever I had any concerns or questions. Maintenance issues were handled promptly in most cases, and I truly have no major complaints about the management or day-to-day living. Amenities like the pool are well-maintained and enjoyable. The property also feels fairly safe at night; it's well-lit throughout, and I've seen what appears to be security patrols occasionally (though I’m not 100% sure). My only minor issue was with the AC system. As others have mentioned, the apartment can get surprisingly warm during cooler months, and it took a bit longer than ideal for them to switch on the cooling system. That sai

I had a very positive experience with both the leasing and maintenance teams. They were professional, responsive, and handled my requests quickly and efficiently. I really appreciate their help.

Despite the rent going up most of the 10 years that I have lived here at Capistrano Apts., The maintenance has improved immensely since Carlos has been here. He is prompt, efficient and cordial and he is thoroughly qualified to repair anything. Thanks also to Georgia the property manager.

Lived here for 2.5 years, once in a 2-bed 1-bath, once in a 1-bed 1-bath. Both were great experiences. Extremely clean, well kept grounds (including a large pool), very quiet, and in a walkable, safe neighborhood. The apartments themselves are very regularly updated with new flooring, carpets, appliances, etc., so despite it being an old-ish complex (built in the 70s I think), it certainly doesn't seem like it. I also really loved that all utilities were included in the rental cost. And Dalia the apartment manager is super kind and accommodating.
