Canvas Lofts

I’ve been here for about three months, and I love it. The location is incredible (5 minute walk to Main St), and the rent prices are on the lower end for downtown. I toured a bunch of places in the area, and these units are just as nice as some that are much more expensive in downtown GVL. Prior to moving to Canvas I lived in one of the mills for two years, and noise was a huge problem at my old place. Here, I occasionally hear the people above me, but I have never heard the people in the adjacent units. If living downtown is important to you, this is definitely a good building to check out.

I LOVED the location of these apartments and layout of the unit I toured. I was so impressed that, out of the all of the complexes I toured, this was definitely in my top 2. I had plans to apply, but I needed to follow up with a few more questions before doing so. So, I emailed the complex and waited for a response... 5 days later and nothing. I decided to reach out to Main and Stone to follow up (I learned on the day of my tour that the same company manages both properties. The staff left Main and Stone to meet me at Canvas Lofts), hoping maybe staff was more responsive to that email inbox... almost a week later and still no response to either email. I recently moved into these beautiful new apartments just opened in downtown Greenville, SC. I really like my new place! First, the apartments are designed in a nicely contemporary style but in an understated way. I like the soft earth tones used inside and the kitchen island is great. I really love the walk-in showers which are so hard to find in Greenville. Its a non-smoking environment which is great. Chasidy is the onsite agent and will take great care of you and is always quick to respond and address any little issues that might pop up. I love that its not too big a community and feels more like "home" when you live there. The location is so convenient for getting all around Greenville and certainly makes downtown so easy. This was the best decision I made in my new move

These apartments do not have any type of of secondary access. Most buildings that require fobs have some kind of secondary way to gain entrance, just in case you walk out without your key, such as a call box. Called to see if I could pay for a second set of fobs and was advised not an available option. Kind of crazy rule to have with no secondary access option and no agents or office on site………..update…….since this they have added phone access, solving this problem
