First and Foremost - the 5 star reviews on here on from employees & or family members that have never even been a resident in their HOA communities ( probably a good idea to change the name and not post as ' CANNON' as your last name). hands down the worst HOA I have ever dealt with. Alex Cannon is unresponsive, to a point where we have had to get legal involved. They collect HOA dues and do not deliver on anything they are supposed to. Then had the audacity to try and raise our dues for absolutely no reason. We have been charged for trash pick up, yet we pay for that through the town. A complete crock and at this point, CRIMINAL.

So far I have not had a lot of experience with Cannon Properties. They have just taken over a condominium complex of which I am an owner of one unit. 100 condominiums sit on a beautiful 15 acres of treed property.The previous management did not mow the lawn before the purchase. Now the lawn has not been mowed on the 15 acres for some time and the grass is over 1 foot tall. I may lose a tenant over this. Yesterday, Amanda was looking into it and said she would call me back in a few minutes. She never called me back. Not even a courtesy call. I plan to take pictures today and send them to the board of supervisors in Albemarle County to see if they will mow the property and bill it to the proper entity. We are not off to a roaring start but I hope it will improve from here.

I moved in and found a ton of mold and dirt in my HVAC after turning it on. The leasing agent said they check it and that it was clean. She did lie as you can see.

Cannon Properties is an awesome company to work with whether you are renting an apartment or buying a house! The people are attentive, helpful and fast! Highly recommended!!!!!
