Candlewood Apartments

I lived here 4 years and loved them all. In that time I only needed maintenance twice. My neighbors were quiet, mature law abiding, drug free people who worked. Great communities can only exist with great residents. Thank you JW Hunter for a wonderful living experience!

I moved here 3 years ago. Was given a punch list upon move in. Mold you can see and has been verified was listed along with broken appliances that also have never been attended to. On top of that when a squirrel was creating havoc in the attic. They closed off the vents and locked it up so he ate through my dryer vent. 19 days it ruined all the curtains, glass anything crawled in my bed, every surface had poop and pee. It got in cabinets. JW Hunter did nothing. If it weren't for JW Hunter it would be a great place but they do not take care of maintenance. If you want clean water. Go elsewhere. I've had three different renters on the other side all leave for the same reasons as me.

I stop by Candlewood on Friday afternoon to view a unit the manager on duty Cecilia advised me there were no empty apartments to view, but I did look at the office which is a two bedroom. Cecelia was able to answer any question that I had and advise me of the application process, and how to pay the application fee. Cecelia was phenomenal and did I mention this was her first week. I am looking for to living in this area. I will be back on the eighth to do my application.

After taking days to reach someone you pay the $100 application fee $50 per person just to be lied to and told your credit was below the requirement. I asked what credit bureau they use I called and check with that bureau and confirmed my credit was more than enough. So now not only did you lie but took my money as well. Renters beware I would look else where if you don’t have money to waste.

Roomy between other tenets but friendly neighbors. Unit size is very accommodating. Personal storage area off back pouch. Safe neighborhood.
