Camden Condos

This is going to be my bad introduction to the apartment complex called Camden Condos. Bad: It seems like.. three years ago and from the year 2001, I think.. this place was amazing, there used to be a park here for the children, their we're people going outside it seemed like, it was vibrant but now.. it looks to be this place is becoming a slum and it's very unfortunate to see. Most tenants pay $1,000 too more, each month, others pay less because some of the apartments is so old and falling apart that the owner makes them pay less ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ but it's not really doing them any favors because the place is deteriorating the more they live in it. I have lived here over 10 years. The last few years have been horrible. New owners bought the complex and raised the rent from 645.00 to 875.00 a month. There are no improvements whatsoever! There used to be an on-site maintenance person and property manager and noone is ever here now. The maintenance man used to pick up the trash/litter around the complex daily. Now there is trash and litter everywhere including bags of garbage behind my apartment that possibly was thrown down from the upstairs apartment. The front corridor door to the building does not close on its own so if you don't pull it shut it stays wide open. Noone pulls it shut but myself so there is all kinds of bugs, beetles, flies and other bugs and insects inside the vestibule along with mold and dirt from the outdoors. The

My hope for this review is to warn potential/current tenants to be diligent, and that the current owners/management will make the appropriate changes to make the stay better than our own. This review has been a long time coming. My husband and I stayed at Camden Condos from October 2021 - July 2023. Initially, the property was managed by a friendly and helpful individual who maintained order and punctuality. You got what you paid for as it didn’t have many amenities, but it had on site management and maintenance. Fast forward about 7-8 months, and the property is sold to new owners. Fair enough! I'm a current tenant at camden condos. I've lived here since Aug 2020. The photos are extremely inaccurate. They have a beautiful office on site which is not occupied by anyone. I have a washer/ dryer in my unit, from what I understand from other tenants, most often the machines in the laundry room are almost never all working at the same time, again this doesn't affect me because I have my own washer/ dryer. I think the biggest change with the new management is not having maintenance on site. I've got the number for maintenance, many don't. It's a shame Marie is no longer here, she was amazing and always willing to get things taken care of in a timely manner. The Camden Condos has been the best property I ever lived in. The building is very solid, no noise, always quiet and clean. The Manager is not only willing to help anytime, but she is constantly asking if everything is good in the apartment, excellent customer service. Every time I have maintenance request it is always done the same day. The parking is not a problem. I have lived seven years in this property. I recommend 100% to anyone that wishes live in this property.
