Burton's Landing Apartments

My building is quiet and clean. Melanie in the office and Jason from maintenance are both amazing. The take great care of any issues that arise.

This area so far has been very safe, from rowdiness and bad weather, both. We are in like "a good weather pocket" here. The bad weather seems to bypass us for the most part. That's one good thing about thus whole area. The worst weather starts towards the southern border of the state and runs southward. The apartments are spacious and attractive.

I really enjoy this place! I have a great apartment, and the strategic location is a big benefit. I have also had prompt responses to maintenance requests, but thankfully, those have been few. The hall is vacuumed about once a week, and the grass is well-maintained. If you want a dishwasher, then a studio is not for you. I also have to use the communal laundry room, but that has not been a big issue in the entire time I have lived here.

I spent one year at Burton's Landing apartments. I loved my unit. The only exception was that I was able to hear the scurrying of my upstairs neighbor's pet clearly, which was annoying, but not the end of the world. The apartment was a bit dated, but my appliances worked perfectly. I had a first floor unit, which was nice because it meant easy access to the laundry room. The washer and dryer was always clean and well maintained. Burton's Landing staff was always friendly and professional. Any maintenance requests were addressed very quickly. I also appreciated that they kept the snow clear in the winter. Parking was always easy - I never had to fight for a spot or upgrade to a carport due to lack of available parking. I lived here from 2020-23. Overall, it was okay. Maintenance was quick to respond to requests. I got my security deposit back in full. Office staff were pleasant and helpful. My building was quiet (I lived with one-beds and studios). My neighbors were very friendly. The parking lot and sidewalks were shoveled and plowed in a timely manner. However, the company the runs Burtons Landings is pretty greedy, in my opinion. For one, each renewal my rent would go up about $50/a month...so beware if you intend to live there over a year. That would be my biggest complaint. Yes, there was inflation, but the rent increases outpaced inflation rates.
