Buckridge At Southport Apartments

My aunt had tons of issues while she lived here. She constantly had issues with the upstairs apartment when they ran their AC, water would run down the wall and cause the paint to peel and dry wall would be messed up. Instead of fixing the problem, they just come in and paint and new drywall and then it happened over and over again. This went on for months. They also painted her bath tub to cover up the nasty dirt from the previous tenant. This was a horrible job because paint started coming up in her bath tub while she was bathing. Keep in mind if they charge u for a deep clean, know they are lying. They showed her a nice apartment when she came to look at the apartments and wouldn't let her see her apartment until last minute which did not look like the upgraded ones. At this point sh

The location is nice though it’s hard to contact the management office and some lousy part neighbor from up stairs nearly every weekend and super loud music everyday!

Together with my husband, Steve, I have been a resident of Buckridge Apartments since December, 2004 (Steve since May, 2004), and have occupied two different apartments over those 19 years. (Therefore, we have lived here longer than any other tenant!) There have been periodic changes in ownership and management during that time—some good and some bad! Overall, the majority of those have managed well and have had friendly, courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable maintenance personnel. Right now the apartment office is unmanned, which is frustrating when we have questions about things and don’t like to leave messages on the Hometown Property Group’s voicemail. I had to find an apartment in 3 weeks and stumbled upon this apartment complex. I had not lived in apartments for 20 years and did not know what to expect. In six months had to have foot surgery and money got tight. I went to talk to the office and they worked with me and never waivered on there promises and very professional. They now have a maintenance crew that responds to your needs and are also professional. If you are wondering if there are any pet friendly apartments this is one. I also like the lay out. The main rooms are separate from the bath and bedroom. Now I have my own place I can call home!

Won't fix stuff. When you complain about it being fix they get mad and have attitude. Maintenance comes in without a 24 hour notice. Office staff and maintenance is rude. Apartments are run down. They fix the floor that they tore up with Grey glue. Holes in floor by bathroom been there since moved in if carpet gives out u will fall threw to neighbors
