If I could give 0 stars I would. Tenant beware!! Wishing I read reviews before going through them. Rented a home from them for less than a year and had to break my lease because they could not take care of a BAT problem that I found within a week of moving in. This includes an over abundance amount of bat feces in the attic area. Was told by wild animal control that it is dangerous to be inhaling that, yet when I submitted the request to have this fixed, they never fixed the problem. After numerous conversations and 7 months later, they still never took care of it. Found out as I was breaking my lease that this had been a problem even before I signed my lease. They knew about this and still let me and my 3 children move in. Had several other maintence requests that were never taken care

Run, dont walk, run from Brown Rentals. They are terrible to rent from. They will turn anything you say around and place the blame on the tenant. Dont bother arguing with them because they will be right and you will be wrong. They dont care about keeping up their properties, just about getting their money. The office staff is useless as you will speak with one staff member then transferred to someone else and no one knows what's going on. Also be prepared to hear that they are short on maintenance staff so you will be waiting for anything to be fixed. They do not obey the MO laws so be sure to have a great attorney. I could have given a 0 rating if there was an option. This is the worst rentals, they took all our deposit and are asking additional payment. We have given the house exactly as it was. We have deep cleaned everything but they charged additionally for everything. I even have video proofs of it. Of how ugly they have given us the house. We made it much better. If you have an option never choose them.

I could not have had a better experience with Brown, especially with Rhonda. They helped me out back in July when I needed an apartment within a week while moving in from out of state; and when I needed a bigger apartment for when my lease expires, they worked with me in order to find a suitable home. Not to mention the maintenance department has been stellar in their response times to any problems with my apartment as well as their friendliness and thoroughness to make sure an issue is resolved.

Was sent here from another place saying that they would work with my husband and I...instead they looked down upon us because I have a federally registered service dog. Then waited to tell us that we don't allow registered service animals unless they are a emotional support animal. Do not go here looking for a rental.
