I would compare my first home purchase with Brown Haven Homes to buying a used car—nothing about the experience felt smooth or reassuring. I am thoroughly unsatisfied with how both Brown Haven and Impeccable handled nearly every step of the construction and financing process. A major portion of the closing delay stemmed from a significant oversight by the lender. Key information that should have been caught at the very beginning of the loan process was completely missed. Because of that mistake, we were forced to switch loan programs after construction had already begun. This wasn’t a minor adjustment—it changed the terms of our financing in a way that directly increased our long-term costs and monthly payment.
